USA – ZEBRA Alliance Announces Expansion of Electric Buses in Latin America

The task was to prepare a strategy and announce the coalition of 17 new investors and bus manufacturers committed to expanding the electric fleet by 3000 buses in the cities of Brazil, Chile, Colombia and México. GrupoCASA coordinated 4 agencies in the countries. We had the presence of over 80 journalists and over 100 stories in the region.  Zebra is a coalition formed by the C40 Cities network and the International Council of Clean Transportation (ICCT) with funding from P4G. Participants include vehicle manufacturers and distributors Andes Motor, BYD, CreattiEV SAS, Foton, Higer, Sunwin, Vivipra, and Yutong; as well as investors AMP Capital, ARC Global Fund, Ascendal, Ashmore Management Company, EDP Brasil, Enel X, John Laing, NEoT, and financier BNDES, the Brazilian Development Bank.
